Create a Workshop
I would be thrilled to help you host a floral workshop for your friends, colleagues, or clients. It’s delightful to gather to learn about how to respond well to the inherent art of flowers, and I love teaching. I can work with you on a specific topic of your choice (centerpieces, vase arrangements, holiday wreaths, holiday decor, tablescapes), or will be happy to propose a topic if you’re not sure what might be best. You can pick from one of the options here, or head to the contact page (https://www.studiofleuraison.com/contact) to ask for a bespoke workshop for your precise needs.
Supplies will be locally grown to the extent possible, and will always be seasonally oriented. (So, for instance, we may work with peonies in summer, but not in the autumn, when we will look at dahlias, zinnias, and dried materials.)
I have a long history of teaching in various topics (languages, visa procedures, cooking, it’s been a lot of things) and I love sharing my love of flowers with others through classes, as well. It’s so fun to bring others into the joy of arranging flowers and help them realize that we all respond to the inherent art contained in flowers.
Pricing is dependent both on the time and product required for the product being taught. All attendees can expect to take home a finished creation. Prices listed are per attendee. Minimum of 5 attendees required to arrange a class.
Centerpiece: You will learn to create a low arrangment suitable for a dining table
Vase Arrangement: You will learn to create a taller arrangement in a vase, such as might grace a mantel or coffee table.
Foraging + Vase Arrangement: We will take a foraging walk to learn to look for materials and you will then learn to arrange your finds in a vase arrangement.
Holiday Wreath: You will learn to make a hand-tied greenery wreath for the fall and winter holidays. Some variation in the decoration possible
Dried Wreath: You will learn to make a wreath of dried flowers and foliage.
